The Arcada Website says the following about Clay and his concert:

American Idol  finalist, Clay Aiken, is undoubtedly one of the greatest vocalists of our era. Having moved millions with renditions of some of our nation’s top hits, including “Unchained Melody”, “Solitaire”, “Crying”, and many more, Aiken’s renditions of classic Christmas pieces is nothing less than jaw dropping.

St. Charles is in the Fox River Valley and just one hour west of Chicago.  According to the   Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau,  there are 11 hotels in the area and many restaurants.  The following links might help with information about the area.

The Arcada Theatre first  opened on September 6, 1926.  It was patterned after the Chicago Theatre, and was the place where Vaudevillian superstars would perform on their way to the big city of  Chicago.   In 2005, the theatre was bought by the Onesti Entertainment Corporation.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent on new dressing rooms, repairs and paint. Upgrades to the sound system, lighting, stage and rest room facilities were also added. Onesti Entertainment exclusively books the talent and produces all the shows.  According to their website:

Today, the “Gem of theFoxValley” is back to its original state of elegance, complete with the original pipe organ that rises from beneath the stage floor. Some of today’s most iconic stars – including Mickey Rooney, Jerry Lewis and Martin Short – perform before the venue’s nine hundred enthusiastic audience members. With each impactful show, the historic Arcada Theater lives on, enabling thousands to experience the joy of world class entertainment.

It looks like a great place to see Clay for the holidays.  I wish the news had come a bit earlier as it is hard to make plans so quickly!

Now, its time to hear about a concert on the west coast!  California loves Clay Aiken and we need a concert too!

As concerts are announced, I will post the information as quick as I can.  So…please check in often for the up-to-date concert schedule.

Is anyone going to try and get tickets to this concert?
