Clay Aiken – Dance and Raise Money Too!

Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.

~~~~~
The popular television show, Dancing With The Stars is in the middle of its 24th season.
I know that some think the show is “cheesy”, but I  enjoy watching the show…I love dance and enjoy watching the celebrities grow in their ability to DANCE.  If I am out, I always record the show so I can see it when I return home.  Right now, I am cheering on Heather Morris, Nancy Kerrigan, Simone Biles, and Rashad Jennings.
And…I still think that Clay Aiken can dance…if he wanted to!!!
~~~~~

I am posting about dance tonight because I want you to know about a wonderful fundraiser for The National Inclusion Project.  The project is in the middle of one of their most fun fundraisers, Dancing Like The Stars.

According to the National Inclusion Project on their website:

Similar to the TV show, Dancing with the Stars, community members from the Triangle area pair up with professional dancers from Arthur Murray Studios in Cary for 1-2 months to learn a dance while raising money for the National Inclusion Project. Then, on April 22nd at 4pm, they take the stage to show off what they’ve learned for the Dancing Like the Stars competition at the Southern Women’s Show! The dancer who raises the most money for the National Inclusion Project by showtime will win the competition. $1 = 1 vote

Please visit the website to learn about the guest dancers who are working hard to learn a dance and support the Project.  You can see their pictures and a bio.  I hope they all get lots of votes!!  Also…a special thank you to the dancers at the Arthur Murray Studios in Cary.  This event would not work without their time and energy.

Remember, the winner is not the best dancer, but the dancer who raises the most funds for the National Inclusion Project! Every $1 donation = 1 vote.

Voting is open and you can cast your vote until Friday, April 21,2017.   You can make your vote/donation online ($10 minimum online donation) or mail in check/cash (must be received by Friday, April 21st) to:  National Inclusion Project   PO Box 110104   RTP, NC   27709.  Every dollar helps!!!

And, if you live near Raleigh, be sure to attend the Southern Women’s Show at the NC State Fairgrounds on April 22nd. At 4pm the live dancing will take place. The  dancers will perform for the audience and do their best to gain all the last minute ‘votes’. The Winner will be announced at the end of the show.

Speaking of dancing…have you seen this great video from SueReu?
