What an exciting time it has been for those who follow Clay Aiken.
2016 has been awesome!
Clay Aiken is a Super Star! Yes, I have said it before and the last few days are saying it again. When Clay speaks, everyone listens!!
Because of a few tweets, Clay has trended on Facebook, had numerous mentions on many TV and radio shows, and…if you do a google search “Clay Aiken/American Idol” there are over 3 million sources.
Today, I have only a bit more information to share. I did add a new blog on Thursday afternoon. If you missed it, it is titled Clay Aiken Headlines The News. It includes a great video from American Idol.
Did you watch American Idol on Thursday night? Well, Clay Aiken did…and he even tweeted:
Ok. That military mom showing up on @americanidol just tore me the hell up! Wow! I’ve got chills. THAT is good TV!
Yes…I watched and I agreed with Clay!

Entertainment Weekly published an interesting article. It is titled:
Who Really Won Each Season of American Idol.
It’s a picture article with 2 pictures for each season. Fortunately, the picture of Clay is excellent.
Season 2’s real winner: Clay Aiken
Runner-up Clay Aiken’s Steadfast album may have stumbled out of the gate—it sold only 4,000 copies the week it was released in March 2012—but he’s sold some 5 million albums since 2003. He’s also penned a best-selling autobiography, starred in the Broadway musical Spamalot, was named a Top 10 celebrity earner in 2011 (he brought in $2.5 million, according to Forbes), and once again found himself a reality TV runner-up vs. Arsenio Hall on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice in 2012. He even ran for Congress in North Carolina in 2014, winning his district’s Democratic primary by a hair—although he was ultimately defeated in the general election. —MJ Santilli
