Clay Aiken – Let’s Make It Happen!

It is always a great day when I can post:

On Wednesday, Clay did blog on the OFC.  As usual, Clay’s blog was informative, funny, and sincere.  One sentence really made me smile:

Last year, your daily dedication to voting helped the National Inclusion Project win $50K in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge which was one of the best birthday presents I’ve ever received.

I don’t know about you, but I would love to see Clay get another great birthday present.  And we have the opportunity to make this happen.

The National Inclusion Project is participating in the November Pepsi Refresh Challenge for $50K.  They need our help…and it is so easy!  It only takes a few minutes each day and it doesn’t cost any of us a cent!!

All you have to do is vote…3 different ways!!  You can vote daily through your email, Facebook, and texting. Next, rally your friends and family to vote too.  This is a perfect time to mention the National Inclusion Project and let them know more about the wonderful organization.  Then get them to vote too.  Today, I took cell phones from my husband, son and daughter-in-law and added the Pepsi numbers in their contacts list.  Now, with a quick reminder from me, they can quickly help us out every day!!  It really is simple.

But, we do need LOTS of votes… I mean LOTS of votes…every day.  Some of the Project’s competition has enormous amounts of support so we need thousands of votes a day.  So…lets spread the word so we can help bring Let’s ALL Play training to more places across the nation.  We want ALL children to participate in all that life has to offer…plus, we can make 2011 the best birthday for Clay!!

The following is posted on the National Inclusion Website:

A few years ago, Clay said the following:

There is no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. The Bubel/Aiken Foundation is the culmination of that realization. It is my purpose now. It is the why of me.

For the month of November, lets make it our purpose too!
