Clay Aiken – Making Us All Proud

I was sad to read this morning that Shirley Temple Black died late Monday night.

She was 85.

Temple Black, who also enjoyed a long career as a diplomat, died of natural causes at her Woodside, California, home.

She was surrounded by family and caregivers.

Ms Black lived close by in the San Francisco Bay area and she was loved by the entire neighborhood.

There has been so much news about Clay Aiken in the past week.  I have brought over many of the articles and interviews written about Clay and his bid for the Democratic nomination for Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District.

Today, I thought it might be fun to see some of the tweets that have shown up.

I always love to see support from Clay’s friends and colleagues.

It is just a week since Clay announced he was running for Congress.  It has been a wonderful week.  I look forward to each day.

I would love to read how you feel.

What will Clay be doing today?  Whatever it is, I am sure he will be busy and making us all proud!
