When you are a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District in North Carolina and the election is only 8 weeks away, every day is a work day!!
On Saturday, Clay Aiken met and talked with the Democratic Women of Moore County. The organization met at the Pinehurst Country Club and had a lovely luncheon. They also had the opportunity to meet the democratic candidates for the up-coming races.
Fortunately, a few people posted information about the event and there were even some nice pictures posted on Twitter and Instagram.

Seren Adele Lyerly: Meeting Clay Aiken at the DWMC luncheon this afternoon! Melinda Lyerly: Finally, a man who actually has NC’s best interests at heart!
Clay posted the next picture on both Instagram and Twitter!
Do you remember your 3rd grade teacher?
I loved this tweet from a democratic activist in North Carolina:
Have you made a donation to @ClayForNC @clayaiken #NC02 campaign yet? https://t.co/1kbRHgyePv We’ve been witnessing a great emerging leader!

Finally, an invitation from Clay to the people of District 2 – North Carolina!
Love this!!!! I love how people are finally seeing what we have witnessed for 11 years. Mr. Large and in control!!!! Compassionate, strong, with a big heart. That's Clay!!!! Oh…and more talent than anyone should have. He's Got It All. North Carolina…you are very fortunate to have such a man looking out for your interests!!!!!!! GO CLAY!!!!!
Yes, I do remember my third grade teacher! Her name was Mrs. Pinder, and she would have been even shorter than Mrs. Sweeney when standing next to Clay! She had a flair for the stage and had our class audition for “Jack in the Beanstalk”. I got to play the wife of the giant, which resulted in my very first crush! Despite this exhilarating “off-Broadway” experience, I went on to become a high school teacher.
