According to a site called Mavrck, as of January 2014, 74% of online adults use social networking sites.
On Thursday, Clay Aiken decided to get back to his Facebook and Twitter accounts. First, he changed his picture on Facebook and probably did some cleaning up of the site. Later in the day, he tweeted 3 times and garnered a lot of attention. Commenting and using #CrimingWhileWhite and #DoBetterAmerica, Clay’s tweets were in response of the Grand Jury decisions that have just taken place. Clay received thousands of retweets and even more Favorites…plus many comments. Because of the volume of responses, Clay also picked up many new Followers.
Social media plays a large role on the internet. It is always amazing to read the statistics about the use of the programs.
1. Worldwide, there are over 1.35 billion monthly active Facebook users.
2. Every 60 seconds on Facebook: 510 comments are posted, 293,000 statuses are updated, and 136,000 photos are uploaded.
3. Five new profiles are created every second.
4. 4.5 billion likes generated daily as of May 2013

All of these numbers are amazing. It’s hard to think there are so many people involved in these sites.

Do you follow Clay on Twitter and FaceBook?
I follow everything on Facebook and twitter although I don't USE twitter to post I do go and retweet things. I keep wondering how fans find stuff Clay posts on Facebook. Why don't I get those?
I use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and nothing else. I tweet the CANN blog first thing in the morning. That's part of my morning ritual.

I follow friends & family on Facebook and check twitter from time to time. I don't post anything except to 'like' or 'comment'. Of course, I couldn't live with out my daily dose of CANN each morning.
I am so happy to be seeing information regarding Clay once again.
I'm surprised we have not heard him applying for some type of government job or someone offering him one.
