Thursday, June 21, 2018 is the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. This is the day that the sun shines directly on the Tropic of Cancer, an imaginary line north of the equator. After the 21st, the days will get shorter by about a minute or so each day until we reach the autumnal equinox, when day and night become even.
So…that means it’s time to enjoy vacations, great weather, pools, baseballs, and everything else that goes along with the summer months!
How will Clay Aiken celebrate the first day of summer? Well, it is hard to know what he will be doing.
Whatever his schedule is, I hope he has a great day!!
When I think of Clay and summer, I remember the wonderful concert he gave on July 2, 2004. The concert was part of the Summer Concert Series for Good Morning America. The outdoor concert was held at Bryant Park in New York City. Thousands of fans came to watch!
