How exciting to hear that Clay will be playing the Man in Chair in the musical, The Drowsy Chaperone!

The character, Man in the Chair, is a Broadway fanatic who is agoraphobic and a loner. He listens to the recording of the Broadway show, hoping that it will cure his profound sadness. The Man in The Chair provides a running commentary throughout the show.
Clay received many positive reviews for his performance. My favorite review was written by Roy C. Dicks – Triangle Theatre critic. He wrote:
.…the big surprise was Aiken In this non-singing role, he proved to be an astute comedian, landing his punch lines with consummate skill, knowing the reclusive character enduring in a subtle, knowing performance. I highly recommend it….
It’s a fun show and I am sure Clay will be amazing in the production. And….Pittsburgh CLO presents wonderful programs!

I won’t be able to drive over to Pittsburgh to see Clay perform…dang! After staying at home for almost 2-1/2 years due to Covid and then having gas at such a high price, I don’t think I’d be safe on the road. Thanks for the videos of what I’m going to miss.
