Clay Aiken – Answering American Idol!

On Thursday night, American Idol was on TV.  They took two hours to show some talented (and some not so talented) contestants  sing in front of the judges in the cities of Denver and Little Rock.  From all reports, there were some nice singers and, as always some interesting back stories about some of the singers.

There were only a few seconds of seeing Clay Aiken on the show…a quick few seconds at the very beginning and a quick look at the up-coming auditions next week.  I hope we have the opportunity to see him in the role of judge next week.

American Idol did send out a question through twitter. I hope all of you will participate and take a moment to answer.

Who is your favorite Idol of all time? #IdolAuditions

The following is the link to the tweet.

I went picture-hunting on my computer and found so fun Clay pictures from the beginning of Season 2 of American Idol.  The following pictures and video is Clay’s Wildcard audition. What fun memories!

Do you remember this?

AND…please don’t forget to vote for Clay!!

  1. I definitely voted for Clay! Who else! Love the pictures and the memory of Clay performing "Don't Let the Sun Shine Go Down on Me!

  2. Oh wow that was quite a performance that night and I'll never forget it!! He was in fine voice and boy did he look sharp!!! Thank you!!

  3. Well I just sent my first tweet to vote for Clay. Thanks for posting the site on CANN. I remember when Clay sang for the wildcard spot. He did a fantastic job, but I kept thinking that the video behind him looked like black smoke was coming out of his ears. Did anyone else ever notice that?
