It is the last day of May, 2014. I wish I had some news about Clay Aiken to report today. It seems this was a day for him to get all his ducks in a row as he prepares for his Campaign for Congress.

Today, we have a bit of information about two of Clay’s friends…the good and, unfortunately, the bad…
Variety – ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ Canceled After One Season
The Arsenio Hall Show has stopped production, marking the end of the host’s efforts to restart his latenight franchise in syndication.
CBS had said that the show would return for a second season, but the latenight strip was facing significant downgrades from stations and the Eye determined that the show would not be financially viable. The show was in reruns this week and will not resume production. The show’s last original seg was May 21.
CBS said in a statement: “Unfortunately, ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ will not return for a second season; while there are many loyal fans of the show, the series did not grow its audience enough to continue. Arsenio is a tremendous talent and we’d like to thank him for all the hard work and energy he put into the show. We’d also like to thank Tribune and all our station group partners for their support of the show.”
Hall had sought to revive the success he had in the late 1980s and early ’90s with his syndie yakked. The show, a joint production of CBS and Tribune, started out with promise last September but could not maintain its early momentum and struggled with guest bookings.
I am always sorry to hear when someones dreams are dashed. I am sure that Arsenio is disappointed. That being said, I only watched the show one night and I bet you can guess who was on the show that night! You can read the article at VARIETY

USA Today – Tyra Banks gets a new talk show
Look who’s giving the talk-show world another try.
Supermodel/producer/media mogul Tyra Banks, 40, will host and executive produce a new daily lifestyle talk show beginning in 2015, it was announced today by Disney-ABC.
The yet-to-be named nationally syndicated show will broadcast from Los Angeles, and sounds like it will be pretty similar to what she did the last time she had a talk show.
“From fashion and beauty to home and entertaining to empowerment and individual enterprise, the show will motivate viewers to improve and enhance their lives by providing cutting edge guidance. Tyra will also welcome celebrities, Internet influencers, experts and everyday people to share their own knowledge across a wide-range of topics that are important to the daytime audience,” read the statement.
Your basic talk show!
The Tyra Banks Show ran from 2005 – 2010.
I wonder if Tyra would like to visit with U.S. House Member, Clay Aiken on her new show. He always is a great guest on his visits to talk shows. You can read the article at USATODAY

As always, when there is news about Clay and his campaign, I will post it as soon as possible.
Please check back for updates!!
I loved the conversation that Clay and Tyra had that day about him being allergic tio chocolate (poor guy) .
Sorry to hear that Arsenio's show is cancelled, I think Trump made a mistake, Clay is still number ONE as he should have been. Nice to see Tyra back for another season, I liked her series. Well nice to hear that Clay is still in the race, he so deserves to be in Congress, he's such a hard worker and a very caring man about people and I know he would do a lot of good for his district. Thanks Musicfan xo
Sorry to hear about Arsenio's show being cancelled. I watched it the night Clay was on, and tried to watch it a few times, but did not enjoy it at all. Too bad for him. Arsenio seems to be a good friend to Clay, and supports him. I never watched Tyra's show either, only when Clay was on, but good for her. Clay's friends, and you never want to see your friends hurt.
I too watched Arsenio only once…when Clay was the guest. Just the other day, I watch a tape of Celebrity Apprentice when Dee Snyder was the leader. All of the guys brought in big bucks, except for Arsenio. He said he contacted all of his "friends" by no one contributed any money. After watching the show, I couldn't help but wonder why Trump gave A. Hall the win instead of the real winner, Clay. I think that Clay will be the winner in November, and that is why he never won AI or CA. He was meant for bigger things than a TV show.
I agree about Celebrity Apprentice. If you watched the whole series Trump praises Hall constantly. Even interrupted contestants to talk to Hall . Clay's talent show was far better than Hall's . Clay made 2x the contributions. $301,500 to $167,100. Still picked Hall I think he picked based on Magic Johnson' being charity. Clay absolutely WON!!
Unfortunately because of Trumps choice everyone considers Clay a 2 X loser. If they knew how hard it was to even get to the final 2, maybe they would understand 2nd place is excellent!!! Oh well. I like Hall but Clay is on to bigger and better things.
Same as all of the above. Watched The Arsenio Hall Show only once, and the Tyra Banks show only once. Thanks Musicfan for all your info. Check site at least twice a day. Emily your are so right 3's a charm, he's winning this one in November.
I don't think Hall was that good to Clay, It took him 5 months to invite Clay on the show, He got away with being so nasty on the show, Trump wanted Hall to win so he could have a show to go on and try to run for President, It is stupid for Trump to think he could make a serious run for President. Clay won that show hands down, all of the other people on the show thought Clay was the winner,
I watched just one episode of Arsenio Hall show, that was when Clay was on and only watched Clay’s section. He was wonderful! I mean, Clay. Clay was robbed at Celebrity Apprentice and the whole world could see it. Trump is a fool, Arsenio was the laziest and least creative contestant of them all, however Trump gave him the win because that was the plan from the beginning since Arsenio’s show was already in the works. Now Arsenio’s show tanked as predicted by many. On the other hand, Clay is running for Congress after winning the primary, which is a huge accomplishment. He’s a real winner!
