Clay Aiken – Catch Up With the News!

On Wednesday, when the sky is blue, and I have nothing else to do,

I sometimes wonder if it’s true

That who is what and what is who.

~ Winnie-the-Pooh

Did you hear Clay Aiken on the radio Tuesday morning?  Being the co-host for the day on Wake Up With Taylor, Clay was full of fun, information, and a few surprises.  For those who didn’t have a chance to hear the show, the following are a few tidbits!

  1. Clay was very excited that Billy Porter was a guest. He said he has loved him as an actor/singer for a long time.
  2. Dr. Todd, a plastic Surgeon, was a guest and Taylor had lots of questions for him
  3. Anthony Weiner – got 21 months in jail.  Clay was not surprised.
  4. Clay is concerned about Meghan Kelly…trying to change who she is too quickly
  5. They talked about the rumors that Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are not getting along.  Clay likes Ryan.. not Kelly!!
  6. Clay watches MSNBC because he is tired of all the arguing at CNN…but he still likes Wolf Blitzer.

There was lots, lots, lots more, including some talk of naked pictures!!??!!  I really do enjoy hearing Clay and Taylor on Tuesdays..Clay did say he would be there a few times in October!

Have you sent your song choice(s) into the National Inclusion Project yet?  From September 22-28, submit the song that you’d love to see streamed live to your computer/phone live from the Gala.  I have had so much fun listening to songs, old and new, that I would love to hear Clay sing!  I finally chose two and sent them in.  You can add your favorites HERE

I can’t wait to hear Clay sing live at the Gala.  I really do miss hearing him sing!

Get out a red pencil and circle October 5th, 8:30pm ET.  On Tuesday the National Inclusion Project posted the following:

Interested in what we’ve been working on behind the scenes? Have questions about the upcoming Champions Gala? Well, tune in on Oct 5th to learn more and ask your questions. Our Executive Director Nick Leisey will share what we’ve been up to in the past few months and give a sneak peek into the fun events coming up at the Gala.

What is a Director’s Chat, you ask? A short conference call (about 30 minutes) with our Executive Director Nick Leisey to hear about what’s going on with the National Inclusion Project and how you can help. They will be held every few months and may include special guests and speakers.

For information about participating, click HERE

I am so glad that Nick is doing these chats.  I am sure that all of us like to know how our donations help the National Inclusion Project as they help kids throughout the United States!

Did you get a copy of the “The Voice” today from the National Inclusion Program?  It is their eNewsletter.  It was sent out on Tuesday.  If you didn’t get one and would like to get the next one, contact the National Inclusion Project.  I am sure they will add your name to the list!

Have you been following Clay in twitter?  It is fun now that he is back to posting fun and informative tweets.  Be sure you check them out!  And…I bet he loves it when he gets re-tweeted!!  CLAY’S TWITTER

  1. I submitted a song that Clay has never performed (that I know of). Looking forward to seeing the list and cast my vote, not only for mine, but also another one, Dearly love the song:
On My Way Here! Thanks for posting.

  2. Would love to hear him sing I Know How The River Feels again. That is one of the most beautiful sings ever and Clay singing it is heaven.
