…I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God’s grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish….
This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

I posted part of this song on September 5th but I can’t think of better lyrics to send to
Clay Aiken right now!
Clay’s new blog was full of love and thanks…but it also seemed to be filled with anticipation. Clay said:
There are going to be some changes coming in 2014. Some big and even disruptive ones that will leave some of you very excited and, sadly, may leave some of you upset and disappointed.
Clay…May I just say that wherever your path leads you, I will celebrate, knowing that you are doing what makes you happy! Isn’t that what we always want for those we love?
I do hope that whatever is on your bucket list for the rest of the year is announced quickly. If travel is involved, we need to get those reservations made ASAP!!!
Now…if I won the lottery, I would buy your beautiful piano and love an intimate mini- concert at my home. The odds??? Not going to happen is it?
Thank you, Clay for all that you have given to your fans. It’s been an exciting 10 years and I look forward to seeing what you are doing in the next 10 years! Your quoting of On My Way Here was the best way to end your blog.
I’ve learned, to fly, you have to want to leave the ground!
~~
And that’s just what we’re going to do!
What road to you think Clay will be traveling in 2014?
