On Tuesday, there was some small mentions of Clay Aiken that were fun and informative…Not big headline news, but things “Here and There.”

Weatherstone Elementary School is in Cary, North Carolina. It is part of the Wake County Public School System. Their PTA posted the following announcement on the schools website:
5th Grade Recognition Ceremony
We wanted to share some information regarding the Recognition Ceremony and Reception honoring our 5th graders.
-
Students should arrive in the classrooms no later than 9:00am. Prior to the start of the Recognition Ceremony, we have arranged for each class to have a picture taken with our Guest Speaker, Clay Aiken. We need to get this done as quickly as possible, so that the ceremony can begin on time.
I would think that this will be one speech that Clay will really enjoy as he faces the excited 5th graders. They are all too young to have seen him on American Idol, but I bet they will love him after tomorrow!

Facebook was the source of some positive messages about Clay. What do you think?
Clay Atkins is running for congress in North Carolina. I seen him at the the Qgunquit Play House last summer. I had a chance to speak with him and from our conversation I know his heart is in the right place to help people. The state of North Carolina would be lucky to have him be their next Congressmen.

Twitter was nice to Clay today too!
