September Song
Oh, it’s a long, long while from May to December
But the days grow short when you reach September
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
One hasn’t got time for the waiting game
~
Oh, the days dwindle down to a precious few
September, November
And these few precious days I’ll spend with you
These precious days I’ll spend with you
~
Kurt Weill and Maxwell Anderson wrote September Song for the 1938 Broadway musical “Knickerbocker Holiday”.
The beautiful song has been sung by many different people including Weill’s wife, Lotte Lenya, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett.
From all the tweets and Facebook messages, it seems that Clay Aiken had a fun Saturday night in New York City!

It is great to see Clay and his friends having fun in New York. It is particularly great that he is sharing his fun with all of us. It is a small gesture that puts smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts!
So…what are your plans for the first days of September?
