Clay Aiken – Celebration Can Be Fun!

I wonder if Clay Aiken celebrated Cinco de Mayo yesterday.  Yes, I know that Clay is a busy man, but sometimes a little celebration is fun too.

Even though Cinco de Mayo is technically a Mexican holiday, it is actually more widely celebrated in the United States.  In the states, there are more than 150 large Cinco de Mayo celebrations across the country.

A long time ago, Clay said that he was not a big fan of Guacamole or avocados and complained that too much food in California “is smothered in the green stuff.”   He may be correct! According to the California Avocado Commission, Americans are expected to consume more than 70 million pounds of avocados on Cinco de Mayo alone. That’s a lot of guacamole.

Well, maybe Clay had a taco or two or perhaps a plateful of Nachos.

Who knows….Yesterday could have been Fiesta Time on stage! !

Maybe we can celebrate with a great video of Clay singing Without You.

We have many readers from all over the world.

Do any of you celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

  1. I have been missing for a while but with a good reason – I was at the Newark Show
seeing Ruben and Clay – oh my – it is taking me a few days to get off the high!!!! It was a 2 and 1/2 hr. trip for us so we stayed overnight at the hotel. My GD took me and we had a dream of a time! So amazing! Getting to see some very special friends made it even better.

Thank you for the video – it is beautiful!

  2. Thank you for the video. I love this song. The video is great. Clays voice is perfect for this song. The picture of guacamole is perfect for Cinco De Mayo. I do not celebrate Cinco De Mayo Day. Thank you CANN.
