In these tough economic times, it is a real challenge to find ways to support our favorite charities. But, there are ways that we can do this. We have been answering such challenges as the Citgo Facebook Challenge and the Christie Cookie Giveaway. Both of which just required a bit of our time to participate.
Another way we can help support the National Inclusion Project is GoodSearch. Periodically we write about GoodSearch and give updates on funds raised so far. We also have one of their badges in the sidebar for your convenience. Here is a chart showing how much has been raised by your efforts so far this year and how much has been raised in the nearly three years that we have been participating.
GoodSearch has a number of tools to help us remember to use them for all our internet searching and shopping. For those who use Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can download and install the GoodSearch Toolbar. It includes a search box and also when you’re on the website of one of the 1,300+ participating merchants, the toolbar will light up. It will show what percentage of your purchase will be donated and display any special coupons offered – all at no extra cost to you.

If you have a webpage or blog, you can install your own badge or banner for GoodSearch like the one in our sidebar or like this:
