It is always nice when we get messages from Clay Aiken. On Saturday, Clay posted a message on Twitter:

Do you remember Angela Fisher?  Angela was introduced to many Clay fans when she was one of the excellent back-up singers for both Clay and Kelly Clarkson on their Independent Tour in 2004.  Along with Quiana Parler, Angela was an important part of Clay’s musical team and toured many times with Clay and his band.

Slade, Fisher lays down an emotionally-drenched, bluesy and jazzy vocal hybrid about surviving through life’s hard times. “Everyone is struggling with something,” says Fisher. “The song reminds me so much of what I’ve gone through in my life. …With her debut album set for release in 2015, she promises a mix of styles as well as a full showcase of her vocal range. “There’s gonna be a lot of different elements—you won’t be disappointed,” she says. “I want people to understand that I can go there and that there is also a soft and calm side to my voice.”

As for her upcoming work, Fisher is prepared to tell her story, allowing fans inside her world. “It’s gonna be an awesome project,” says the songstress. “I want people to get my vulnerability; I’m putting myself out there and I’m not holding anything back.”….

“I.R.S.” performed by Angie Fisher, has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance. The song was written and produced by B.Slade and Co-Produced By Curtis “Sauce” Wilson.
The Grammy Awards will be televised LIVE on February 8th, 2015 on CBS.
