Anticipation…………..that is what goes through ones mind while waiting for Clay Aiken to appear on a scheduled TV appearance.   Whether it is Leno, Kimmel, GMA, or Tyra Banks,  the first look tells us so much.

  1. I have been staring at #6 for……too long now. LOL

    So I would have to say that one, on the last Today show appearance. Why? Because it is the more natural of them and I feel like I'm just watching Clay enter a room, any room and imagining…the possibilities :o)

    I do love almost all of his entrances though. I think it's the "anticipation" of him entering that nearly kills me!!

  2. This is really hard to choose…. I always love Clay’s entrances with Kimmel…He always seems to try different things…like the one where he rode in on a horse…. I did like it when Clay came out with the balloons in the shape of a heart, the ones the fans sent to him, and then he brought Jimmy the shirt with his picture on it, and I think had M & M’s with their names on them…

    For one thing..Clay is never dull…Always makes an entrance..

  12. It has to be #4 Tyra. For one thing, he was the sexiest on this appearance. I loved the whole show..and Tyra got it pretty steamy at times too. Love when they did the Interview Show and Clay tried to steal her Logo with his name on it. Lol!!! I also loved his entrance..almost like he was a model(well, he really could be, ya know?).

  15. I have to say that I really like Clay with darker hair than the blond.

    Musicfan, isn’t one of those entrances on Kimmel the same night that Ryan Seacrest was a guest??? Seacrest looked SOOOO uncomfortable, but Clay looked great.

      • Yes he was and what I don’t understand is why he didn’t stay. Don’t the other quests normally stay and just move down the couch to make room for the next guest? I thought it was strange.

        • Not so strange when you consider the crap that putz has thrown at Clay Aiken over the years, even after Clay tried to help him get his show going.

    • I like Clay’s hair when it is natural color, not too dark, and not too blond. I thought his hair was beginning to look a bit over processed after it had been blond for awhile. I was happy when he changed it.

      Everyone knows that Ryan bashes Clay on his radio show fairly often. He knows it, too, and maybe he was afraid of what Clay might say if he stuck around. Clay has never bashed Ryan–Clay is all class.

  19. I picked #4. He was just adorable that day.
    That is one day that was fun for all!

    That night Ryan was on Jimmy Kimmel, Ryan was all over the place, like he was going to jump out of his skin.

  20. I loved them all, but I had to go with the Tyra entrance!
    And after I voted, I see that most of you did too!!

  26. You left out my absolutely most favorite entrance EVER. The entrance where he came on, on Jimmy K, on a horse. I loved that. And nobody mentioned that he was on a “high horse” (except Jimmy did say “you are up very high”) just sort of ignored it.
    I think I remember that people thought he did it cause “the putz” (thanks for that tnmtmama) said in an interview that Clay had better get down off his high horse.
    Don’t know if that is true, but it sounds like Clay Aikens snarky sense of humor.

  28. I loved the Tyra entrance. Clay just looked so happy to be there with Tyra.My most favorite Clay entrance EVER has to be the Idependant tour.You heard Clay start singing Kerie, and you didn’t know where he was.You had to search until he appeared coming isle surrounded by security and screaming, cheering fans.It was GREAT!

    • Oh, YES, I did. He was amazing, and the entire crowd was waiting for his appearance. They saved the BEST for last, and he blew everyone else out of the water. What a night!!!

      • The funny thing was all Clay did was walk on stage.No band,dancers,backup singers,or fancy lighting.It was just Clay,his voice,canned background music and his microphone.The place just EXPLODED the minute he appeared.I was sheer pandemonium.Clay really did blow the roof off the place that night.Yes,they Did make us wait a lonnnng time for Clay, but he sure was worth it!I will never forget it.

        We actually left and came back, we could only take so much of the other “entertainment” We left when the guy took off his shirt and started screaming obscenities and returned when Stacy Orico was just finishing.

  30. Definitely Clay and Tyra. I think the best ever Clay entrance was on the AI5 finale but since that’s not there, I’ll definitely go with Clay and Tyra. 🙂

  32. #4 was my favorite. It’s always fun to watch him make an entrance, on tv or in person, but there’s an extra bit of drama in the way Tyra’s guests take the stage. He seemed happy and relaxed to be joining his good friend on stage. It was nice.

  37. Now that I look at them again, and who could ever stop wanting to see those clips over again, #3 seems pretty cute too.

    He leaps out from back stage like a trooper, but when he turns toward the audience he breaks out that smile. What a great smile it is, too!

  39. I always love any Clay Aiken entrance because I know good things will follow it. But, the Tyra Banks one was definitely my favorite. I loved how he looked that day and I love the chemistry between Clay and Tyra. It came as no surprise when he was asked to present her with an award. They just “clicked” and I am so glad that they have remained good friends. Someday I hope to see him on her show again.

    Nobody makes a entrance like Clay…….and the crowd always is so loud in their appreciation.

  46. Since I am from Oklahoma and we sent the balloon heart, I had to vote for #5. I LOVE the Tyra entrance but he could only make that type of entrance on her show. As far as being natural, I like #3 because he is looking at the audience when he waives. It could just be me, but he looks kind of tired in #2. Gosh, I miss him.

  49. Personally, my fav entrance was when he arrived on Jimmy Kimmel’s stage on a horse. But from this list, I had to pick the Kimmel one …. you just never know what Klimmel fun will be had by those two .
