Words of Wisdom by Clay Aiken

Yes…Clay Aiken has something to say!!

“Use your voice.”

“I’m really not that special. Really, I’m not. I was on a big TV show, but it was just a TV show.”

“Pain happens to everyone. To grow up, to fulfill your potential, to develop into what God wants you to be–this process takes support. No one succeeds alone.”

“A song is like a smile. If you meet people from another country, even if you don’t speak the same language, you know what a smile means. A song works the same way. Music produces feelings that need no translation.”

You don’t have to be around people you are related to be with family.”

“There is no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up…The Bubel/Aiken Foundation is the culmination of that realization. It is my purpose now. It is the why of me.”

“Singing in front of a stadium of fans is wonderful, but it pales in comparison to being embraced by a child.”

“I believe that in every life there is a song to be sung.”

“It’s about damn time!”

“Thank you.”

  1. So much inspiration from such an inspirational man – I am very proud to be a fan of Mr. Clay Aiken.

Thank you, MusicFan for these great pictures and Clay “sayings”

that make us remember why we love him so much. He really is a man

of great wisdom and I love when he does “Use His Voice”.

  2. I love this. Clay is wise beyond his years. He knows what is important. I've always believed that Clay is better at saying something that is important. I don't think he is big on blogging about the weather. Not his style. When he has something to say or share, he will do so. I admire him for that, because I think sometimes when someone blogs for the sake of blogging, when they do have something to say, it gets lost.

Love the pictures and quotes today..thank you Musicfan

  3. This is great…love the quotes and the pictures. Lots of fun!

    I do miss Clay!

Thank you for your everyday posts…they are wonderful!

  4. =) Clay just hasn't changed, has he? Still the sweet, caring, talented man he's always been. He is probably a tad bit more jaded (aren't we all), but the core remains the same. We are lucky

  5. Great pictures and great quotes. Love the pictures and being reminded of the great inspirational words that Clay has given us.

  6. Those photos of Clay, along with his Words of Wisdom, are truly inspirational, and definitely embody what Clay is all about; i.e. an advocate for the less fortunate, humble, grateful, purveyor of song, champion for the disabled, supporter of children, spectacular entertainer, sensational singer, activist, and always thankful.

Your blog today is a wonderful way to portray the man we all love, Clay Aiken. Thanks musicfan.

  7. Loved todays blog….How do you think up so many great ideas??

Clay has so many wonderful quotes. Maybe, if we don't hear from Clay again for a while, you can do this with some other quotes.

Thank you for all you do!

  8. music fan you are amazing….thank you for the blog. it speak by itself.
