Clay Aiken – Back Into The Romantic Past

Happy Sunday!!

I hope this holiday week-end is full of memories, respect

AND

Lots of Fun!!

The following is a fun video.  It is a professional video made for promotion of Clay’s PBS Special – Tried & True.  Decca wrote the following about the video:

Tried and True, American Idol Super Star Alumni Clay Aikens first Public Television special, reaches back into the romantic past of the 50s and 60s, featuring many of the most iconic love songs ever written. Shot at the Memorial Auditorium in Clays home town of Raleigh, North Carolina, Tried and True features a full orchestra and big band. Clay is joined on stage by special guest and American Idol colleague Ruben Studdard, along with special guest Linda Eder, who is widely recognized as one of the best female vocalists of our time.

Enjoy

  1. What a fabulous performance by OMC! Love the special vocals by Ruben and his duet with Linder Eder "Crying". The show's last song was truly the best: "Unchained Melody".
Standing ovation! Thanks CANN for the Clay Memory and enjoy your weekend!

  2. I had forgotten how great that was and how great his singing makes me feel, wonderful all around.

  3. Being in the audience of Clay's Tried & True concert was so exciting. Being able to purchase the DVD later and enjoy the show whenever I want to is a special bonus. Wish more of Clay's concerts had been recorded so we could relive those happy times. Glad for youtube.
