Clay Aiken – In The Audience

It is always fun when we can start a blog with news about Clay Aiken.

On Tuesday night, Clay posted the following picture and message on Twitter – (Instagram too):

How is he gonna fit all of his hits into just one show?? #impossible #soldout https://ift.tt/2GRWbLG

It seems that Clay and his friend, Ben Cohn attended The Hitman Concert by David Foster.  The concert was on Tuesday night at the Town Hall Theater in New York City!!  Since Ben is Clay’s musical director and pianist, I would imagine he and Clay really enjoyed the concert.

Do you remember when David Foster  presented a show on May 11, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.  David Foster brought together one of the most unique and talented group of entertainers one could find anywhere.  The talent spanned many different, unique styles and each was one of the best in their field.  Heather Headley, Brian McKnight, Paul Anka, Donny Osmond, Cher, and Clay Aiken…all on one night.

For me, the highlight of the evening was seeing and hearing Clay Aiken on the stage, doing what he does best……singing.  Clay sounded wonderful and looked comfortable and handsome.   Clay performed a medley of hits that Foster wrote and were originally performed by Peter Cetera.  They included Hard To Say I’m Sorry, You’re The Inspiration, and The Glory of Love. The audience gave Clay a great deal of support and a standing ovation.

I loved the David Foster and Friends Concert that Clay was in. It was an amazing concert. I hope Clay and Ben enjoyed the concert last night!

The following is a video of Clay performing at the David Foster and Friends Concert.

Isn’t it fun to see Clay…he looked good in 2009 and still looks great!

  1. Yes, Clay does look good and sounds so good on any stage – he just makes a person smile! That was a wonderful memory – thank you. David Foster is blessed to have Clay as a part of his family and Clay to have David F. in his. So many musical genes going on there!

  2. Clay does such wonderful works. I'm hung up on his American Idol days and listen to his performances nearly everyday. Thanks Clay for your talent!

  3. Thank you for this! Yeah, it brings back great memories! I was lucky enough to be there – but oddly I have zero memories of any other performances! ?? I have always remembered Clay’s, tho, and David saying how Clay was now “part of our family” and how much he loved him! So glad the vid includes that intro!

Also glad I’m back into this site, for the past several days my new cell wouldn’t bring me here from my email, but suddenly today it’s OK; just so I could have a deja vu, LOL. Thanks again!
