BroadwayWorld.com is one of the biggest sites for up-to-date information on Broadway shows and the artists that are the heart of the Broadway community. The site has always been very supportive of Clay Aiken.
On Wednesday, February 2nd, BroadwayWorld wrote a great article about Clay and his concert at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. The concert is scheduled or February 19th at 7:30PM.
The well-written article relays the information about the Tried & True Tour and also highlights both Clays professional career and his work with charities and education. The following paragraph from the article is one of the highlights.
An unlikely pop star, Aiken has remained steadfast in his desire to remain true to the simple values he learned as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina. “I still live in the town where I grew up,” he says. “I like surrounding myself with people I know and love.” It is this authenticity that his millions of fans have responded to, an almost supernatural earnestness that feels unconventional in the cynical world today.
