In 1946, the Andrew Sisters and Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadian Orchestra released a song in which they asked listeners
if they would like to spend Christmas in this special location.
What is the name of this special place?
As all of you know, I love days when there is up-to-date news about Clay Aiken. Wednesday was great in that way.
We learned on Wednesday morning that Clay and Ruben will be on The View today!!
Look at the tweet that The View sent out!
I was not able to see the show Wednesday, but a few people said that they heard that Clay and Ruben would be singing together. Whatever they are doing, it will be so much fun to see them on TV together!
Late Wednesday afternoon, Clay tweeted:
So…Clay joined Meghan McCain on the radio Wednesday night. He was on the last hour of the show.
Meghan announced that Senator John McCain and his wife are going to the Christmas With Clay Aiken concert in Chandler. Meghan said that her mom is a real fan of Clay and his music. It is always exciting to have special people in the audience.
The conversations between Clay and Meghan were almost all about Trump, but they even brought Penn Jillette into the conversation.
I enjoy listening to Meghan and Clay. They don’t agree a lot of the time, but they respect each other and listen to each other. And…they make me think!
Do you listen to the show? If you missed it, it will be up HERE soon.
Just one more bit of news.
I am leaving at 5:30am Thursday to travel to Chandler, Arizona to attend Clay’s Christmas Concert.
To say I am excited is an understatement!!
So…be patient with CANN. I am traveling with my very old laptop.
I will try and post from Arizona about what is happening, but don’t worry if the schedule is off.
But an old computer and hotel wi-fi..who knows!
Please check in and watch for some info.
Also…I hope you will come up and say hello if you see me.
I would love to meet everyone of you!
Maybe we can have a cup of coffee or a drink together in Chandler!
My seat at the concert is Center 1 – Row E – seat 214
“Let us have music for Christmas…
Sound the trumpet of joy and rebirth;
Let each of us try, with a song in our hearts,
To bring peace to men on earth.
