  1. We have come a long way – It was fun reading all of the lists and

thank you for all of the information. It brought back many memories. But the very best was that sweet baby boy at the very

end. Thank God for sending him and his glorious voice.

  2. In 1978 I was 28 years old and I remember EVERYTHING you listed. Good times and bad times during that year. I grew up in the SF Bay Area and it was a rockin era. Little did we know that one Clay Aiken was born as well. WTG Fay! Thank youuuuuu so much!!

  3. What a trip down memory lane huh? I remember it all.

But definitely the best of 1978 was Clay was born. He is special in so many ways, and I thank God he has enriched my life more than any other person. Clay has opened my eyes to so much. I'm seeing better, and clearer. Not to mention the voice that I never tire of, and brings joy to my heart. Yes…1978 was a good year..and it keeps getting better.

  4. "And on this day in 1978, a handsome young boy named Clayton was born. "

No, no, no. Clay was born on Nov. 30, 1978. This is only August!! LOL!

  5. Wow! In 1978 I saw all the movies you listed, watched all those tv shows, and had heard all the music/musicians on your list.
Didn't know back then that Clay Aiken was born, but glad he was!! 😉

  6. Thanks you very much for those lists. Those were certainly the good old days…I remember all of those things. Very good memories. But, the best one was…Clay Aiken was born. It can only get better.

  7. That was back when TV was good, the music was good, the movies were good etc. And out of all that goodness we got the best of all Clay Aiken.

  8. ACKKKKKKK!!

Boy….I really need to proof-read a bit more carefully. I really do know when Clay celebrates his birthday…I just didn't state it correctly.

So sorry for the misunderstanding!! I did re-write the sentence!!

  9. They were the good ole days for sure!
Clay Aiken was an adorable baby and grew up to be a handsome man with a huge heart and an incredible talent.
