The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year. — Mark Twain
Yes…yes…It is now April 2nd. But, right now my schedule is still a big mess.
As most of you know, I attended the Power of Play Inclusion Conference in Raleigh last week. It was fabulous and I look forward to sharing it with all of you.
BUT, there is more to the story. I left the event at approximately 3pm to get to the airport. I got home the next day at 5am.(add 3 more hours for time change) Yes…a total mess. Put together delays because of weather and busy Friday afternoon/evening crowds! What a mess! I sat on a slanted brick wall in the Dallas Airport for hours. Ah, the fun of travel!! That being said, the conference was worth every minute I waited!! I look forward to sharing my thoughts on the conference soon!
So…I am really behind and I apologize for no report yesterday!!

It seems some odd person opened a new twitter account, pretending to be Clay Aiken.
Clay posted the following tweet:
This @clay_aiiken dumbass is not only not me, he’s too stupid to spell my name correctly too. Until I can have him banned, IGNORE!!!!!
Please don’t even click on the site. He doesn’t deserve the hit!! Some people have too much time on their hands!!

Clay Aiken made an appearance with Chris Jansing on MSNBC on Friday, March 31st.
Clay talked about North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper and his role in the repeal of the controversial “bathroom bill”. He was also asked about the pressure from the NCAA to ban all events in North Carolina.
Clay had much to say about the “bathroom bill” and his tweets and responses have been published on Billboard, Yahoo and other sites.
If you missed seeing Clay on MSNBC, you can see the interview on the video below.

April Fool’s Day is a “for-fun-only” observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their “significant other” out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. It’s simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!
I hope you had a wonderful April Fools Day!!
Glad that you enjoyed the conference! I can sympathize with you about your traveling horrors. Going to and from the Christmas Concert in Chandler, my daughter and I had experienced the same! I’m glad that Clay got voice his opinion on TV. There still is a lot of work to be done. And it’s tacky that this happened within the time constraints of the NBA.
Glad you are back and that you enjoyed the conference.
CANN is well worth the wait! So much going on the past few days: great things and the horror of your air travel!
Clay was very informative on MSNBC, but that idiot who tried to start another account was scary!
It took a long time, but you are back home again. Glad you enjoyed the conference. As I watched the Ice Skating Competition on TV, I wondered if you arrived home in time to watch it.
Thanks for the links to watch and read about Clay.
