Clay Aiken – With Knowledge And Conviction

I have added a YouTube of Clay’s conversation on The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell.

On Monday evening, Clay Aiken posted the following tweet:

Talking to @Lawrence in 10 minutes on @MSNBC

Yes…Clay was on TV again and was able to let people know ahead of time.

Clay chatted on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.   O’Donnell is a former political adviser to Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-N.Y.) and an Emmy Award-winning producer for The West Wing.

Clay and Lawrence chatted about Donald Trump and his family.  Clay said that Trump has a lot of respect for his kids and listens to their ideas.  He said he would not be surprised if they did tell their father to get rid of his Campaign Manager.

Clay also mentioned that when he was on Celebrity Apprentice,  he saw more of the Trump kids than of Donald Trump.

Near the end of the conversation, Lawrence commented that Clay had been supporting Bernie Sanders and wanted to know how Clay felt now.  Clay said that he was supporting Hillary Clinton.  After a bit of teasing, Lawrence said that he was glad Clay announced his endorsement of Clinton on his show!!

Clay looked relaxed and spoke with knowledge and conviction.  He broadcast his part of the conversation from a studio in Raleigh.

I was not able to find a video of the show, but if I do, I will post it here.  Here is the new video!  Clay’s interview is at about 23.00 mark.

Clay was in the news again on Monday.  One of his tweets was reviewed and rated by Politifact.

Do you know about Politifact?  According to their website:

PolitiFact is a fact-checking website that rates the accuracy of claims by elected officials and others who speak up in American politics. PolitiFact is run by editors and reporters from the Tampa Bay Times, an independent newspaper in Florida, as is PunditFact, a site devoted to fact-checking pundits.

On Monday, one of Clay’s most popular tweets was rated.

For Politifact, that is a good answer.

So…Monday was a good day for Clay Aiken and also a good day for those who enjoy following Clay and his career.

Hopefully, we will hear from Clay again today!
